The idea was to use the waist belt with this pouch instead. When it arrived though it literally is pocket sized, so I've been using it in my trouser (combat) pocket instead. It's worked brilliantly, I don't have to wear anything on my waist that can get in the way and everything is organised. The only gripe is it is purple on the edges but to me the majority of the material is more blue.
