A: Not unless you buy an adapter to attach a car seat. From the official website: 

“ The Bugaboo Butterfly can be used from 6 months of age until 48.50 lbs. The Butterfly can be used with a car seat using the Butterfly car seat adapters (available to purchase separately)—in this case, the Butterfly can be used from birth onwards.”

**Q: How do the brakes work on the butterfly stroller?**
A: You need to press down on the brake pedal to lock your stroller in place. When ready to stroll you lift the pedal back up.

This compact stroller easily fits through narrow doorways and tight spaces but has plenty of room for our son and great undercarriage storage for a compact unit. It came standard with a water proof see through cover for those rainy days, and the sunshade has extra extension to keep our little guy out of the direct sunlight while providing ventilation on hot days and easy viewing from above.
