They are lovely and soft. I have a small Shih Tzu and he loves these as he can easily pick them up and squeak them on his own. The grunting sound is great and my dog can make it grunt by poking it with it's nose. But if you squeeze the pig hard it really squeals which gets my dog excited. She likes to chase them and then gather the two pigs together as if they were puppies. After several months, one of the squeakers dislodged from the mouth of one pig and stopped sounding, but I have managed to reposition it and glue it back so it works again.
