I play a lot of racing games (f1 2012, wrc3, Forza, Granturismo academy edition) and in my opinion it's very rare to find a racing game that is perfect, I near enough struck gold when I found this game! as long as you have an ok graphics card, the graphics are brilliant. however if you don't have a good graphics card, just turn the graphics down a little. One thing I must point out, the experience is enhanced with a steering wheel and I strongly recommend a wheel too but it is still playable with a keyboard. I would recommend race07 to ages 8+ purely because some of the cars are quite hard to drive. Classes- Mini, Caterham, Formula 3000 (NOT formula1), Formula BMW, WTCC06, WTCC07. Mods are available free on internet websites. (Mods are way of freely upgrading and customizing games, a little experience is needed for 'modding' though, there are a lot of websites that help you with this). Without being too familiar with the terminology at the time, I was looking for an arcade racing game that my laptop could play.The cars handled really well, and racing with 30 cars on the track is a unique experience. However, if you want to do well at this game, it requires a LOT of practice.In my experience there was a race-breaking glitch where, if I entered the pits with flag rules on, I would get an instant yellow flag after leaving the pits, which would oblige me to enter the pits for a penalty the next lap, and I'd eventually get disqualified because of this.
