I took 12 seeds out of one of them and wrapped them in a wet paper towel and placed them in a plastic bag. Then I promptly lost them and forgot about them. I found them about a month and half later where the bag had fallen behind my dehydrator. I opened the bag and found that all 12 lemon seeds had sprouted! I placed them all in a separate little pot with a tropical growing medium in which they continued to grow. I noticed about a month ago that they might need some extra nutrients so I ordered this citrus fertilizer for them and applied as instructed on the side of the bottle. I should probably post a pic of my baby lemon trees because they are growing beautifully and their leaves are so nice and green. I'm kind of blown away about the whole thing. I really didn't expect all the seeds to sprout but they did. Now I have 12 adorable little trees that need a good home so maybe this Christmas I will seek out lemon tree lovers to give them too, keeping a couple for myself of course.
