**Q: Can I remove the pedals, not the pedal footholds ?**
A: I'm not sure I understand your question. I don't know.

**Q: May I verify that this bike has two hand brakes, and no coaster brake, and that the pedals can free spin like adult bikes?**
A: Yes, that is correct.

**Q: Are the brake levers adjustable for small hands?**
A: You can adjust the brake levers up or down.  Raising the brake lever such that it is on a plane with the handle bar makes the little one access the brakes easier.  Honestly, the hand brakes are much better than the pedal brakes, because the little one is still learning how to bike.  It is much easier for their little brain to process the info by squeezing the brake to stop.
