But, this is expected since they warm to room temperature and stay under pet food for about 8 to 10 hours daily. It’s not a fault of the product itself. To manage this, I recommend washing the room-temp ice packs with mild soap and COLD water after every other use.I currently have this set along with the pack that came with the feeder itself, but I wish I had yet another pair to make cleaning even easier!
