Was this easy to fit please? Do you have to take the top of the machine off to get at the inner lock? I'm quite handy but no expert!** A: Yes, you need to take the top off the machine, is isolate the machine from the electricity supply before you go any further. Then remove the fixings for the control display (and unclip it and put it on top of the drum out of the way), the remove the front panel fixing screws, and the 4 screws that hold the front panel to the drum front (these are inside the door aperture). slightly pull the side panels away from the front panel (there are a couple of plastic locating lugs on each side). Then carefully pull the top edge of the front panel away. This gives you just enough room to get your hand in and disconnect the wiring connections. The interlock snaps out of place if you pull the back of the interlock away from the front of the machine.
