"The boys" are able to breathe, and are kept away from close encouters and sweaty contact which is all too routine, especially when you get hot. They work pretty simply. They are similar to a normal set of underware, except there is a portal through which the boys make their escape from the confines of the fabric which normally keeps them against the skin. That alone would leave them exposed to the world. So a rather interesting "hood" is integrated into the design, which is pulled over and tucks under the tender bits in a way that keeps them comfortable and controlled. The fabric of the hood is very elastic and stays in place until its time for a proper appearance.
