At first I thought she was eating them very quickly, but no, they were gone in seconds. Since it's been a little over a week, she's started chewing them and savoring the flavor, but those first few days I was both worried for her safety and happy that she loved them. My other girl loves them as well, and she's a lot more savvy when it comes to treats that at good for her. She wants the junk food, not the ones that are good for her teeth/breath or any of the freeze dried treats, so I was pleasantly surprised that she was into them. I have a third who won't eat anything but his dry food, but I'm working on getting him to try them. If he does, I'll be adding the hairball remedy to their treat routine. So buying these as a vitamin, is not such a smart buy. That said, I will give them 2-3 a day as a healthy treat because they love the flavor and crunch. Much better than the popular brand. He's on a prescription diet so finding anything outside of that diet food that won't make him sick has always been an issue. However with these multivitamins, he keeps them down and it doesn't upset his stomach at all. I haven't given him the full amount that the instructions say to give, but he's had 8 or 9 in a day (he's a 15-pound cat) and we haven't had any issues at all. He loves the flavor and thinks of them as treats.
