Review: Beneficial for compulsive skin picking disorder when combined with professional counseling - I have had CSP for over 50 years, and have had many years of therapy to no avail. I read a medical article about NAC used in studies for compulsive skin pickers having much success. I had a year of specialized therapy for this while taking NAC and it has been life changing. Check with your primary care Dr first, but I definitely recommend counseling combined with NAC. It doesn’t smell or taste good, but I swallow I it behind a mouthful of food and it is easily tolerated and well worth the results.
