We used two pieces of 4" foam we had and affixed them to the underside of this. That worked like a charm. We have played many games of ping pong on this and it works perfectly! It is heavy, well-built and was a great value for the money.

The hinges didn't even fit the holes properly so the wood gets damaged as you screw it in. On top of that it's much smaller than it appears in the pictures and is not the easy, no-assembly-required tabletop that it claims in the description. Buy it if you have a small table to replace and don't mind the poor overall quality. The ball doesn't even bounce properly on the table it feels as if there are dead zones throughout.

We bought this to put on top of our full-size air hockey table. It was a little tricky to get it level, as it kept dipping in the middle. Nice table. Careful with the padding square placement. Make sure they're even and will fit properly on whatever your putting this on, or it will not sit level. This is a little smaller than regulation so it fits perfect in my 12x17 room.
