But a nice single coat of buttercream will be just fine. The acrylic top sits nicely in the grooves of the board so it does not shift (unless you completely dump it). The base is not removable, but is very sturdy as it is the same material as the board. If you have been having issues looking for a cake holder, this is what you’re looking for! *** portability can be an issue. It needs to be stabilized properly if going into a trunk like area, or it would need to be held evenly throughout the ride.

**Q: Can you leave the baked cake on the wood without ruining the wood?**
A: I don’t think doing so will ruin the wood. However I did put a parchment paper lining underneath the cake just for caution. I hope it will help. Thanks

A: It depends on the dimensions of the specific cake you intend on buying. Our cake stand can fit a cake that is up to 15" x 10.5" x 4" inches.

A: No, the pedestal is not removable.

A: I have not put hot food in it. I use it for pastries. It is a wood cutting board. I think you can use hot foods.

Great gift idea for birthday, new home, house warming, Mother's Day gift, BFF gift birthday or even for yourself! Super easy to clean when using as a charcuterie board. Most likely wont use as a cake. I love the charcuterie board of it. They leave a note inside with other products they offer and wow, I ordered more from them! GREAT quality too! LEGIT product!
