I like birkis bcuz they r very strong but omg these r tough n uncomfortable. The insole is like it's made out of concrete I had to throw them n use a more softer one from my old klogs. They're not made to stand in 12 hrs a day plus they sweat alot at d end of my shift my toes r like water soaked smh. You have to give them a good 3 weeks or more for them to work in I only keep them bcuz they r expensive I suggest u size up just for comfort

I normally wear an 11, so I ordered the 11-11.5. The box/shoe says 11. Width is great but my toes touch the front of the shoe. I'll be returning and ordering a larger pair.

I took off a star because of initial sizing and break in time; otherwise 5 big Shiney stars!!!!!First off, these run big. Don't listen to others saying go up in size! I litterally returned two pairs trying to get the right size. I wear a 10.5 in everything normally, these i wear a 9-9.5. Save yourself some time and just size down up front, or get measured in store.Out of the box, not super comfy. Top of clog causes discomfort across the bridge of the foot. Used a stretcher overnight, took care of it no problem. After wearing for a few days, I love these shoes! Been wearing them at work (kitchen), and they hold up great. Extremely light weight, non slip works well, and Extremely comfortable now that they are broken in.If you have foot, knee, hip, or back pain due to standing all day/night; this is the solution!

I have worn shoes like these since culinary schoolIn 2000. I even wore a similar pair for my wedding. They fit great. I purchased these to replace a pair that cracked shortly after buying them. Fingers crossed these hold up better. How ever that was the first time I had an issue with them in 21 years and 5 or 6 pairs.

A Birkenstock sales representative recommended these to me for treating my plantar fasciitis. But the cork insole requires a break-in period which is painful. I also found that the men's size 9 that I ordered was too big. Returning them.
