I even read a few reviews under male names taking about their effectiveness...hmmm interesting. Oh well, I decided to go for it because I hate shopping for these products in the stores and really hate running out when I need them. This box should last at least 1 1/2 to 2 years depending the woman, or of course depending on the number of people using them. Either way if you get the box for $50 then it's 10/$1 for the real Tampax brand. Also, like another reviewer mentioned, since these are made for vending machines they come in a hard cardboard tube and this is helpful is keeping them protected in your purse or bag.
