I also loves me some slouchy boots and all things boots. So on aesthetics, I would give these inexpensive shoes 4 stars.However, there are a few things I do not like. The quality of the synthetic faux suede is not good. I have never owned a pair of shoes that to the touch, felt like sandpaper. Well, now I do. It's like they somehow took a pumice stone and turned it into fake leather for this shoe. Because of this, I do not know how long the shoe will last. And if you own a pet that sheds, these shoes might work out better as a cleaning tool. All hair, fuzz, dust etc. clings to this shoe and plugs up the bizarrely porous surface. I have not noticed any color rubbing off, but I specifically wear these with black socks just in case.These boots have a very walkable heel and 0% arch support or padding. I saw from other reviews that these boots run small, so I ordered a 1/2 size up (usually I'm a pretty solid 6.5 and ordered the 7). These shoes are at least a full size smaller than they should be, I should have gone with the 7.5 at least.
