Previously, I used a fine-mist water spray but the effect on,y lasted a few minutes. I don’t know how the makers do it but this spray keeps the sheets slightly damp for a much longer time. I even spray it on me if it’s really hot! It doesn’t make the sheets feel wet, just lovely and cool, so I don’t know how that is possible as it is a wet spray. Brilliant though, and helps me get off to sleep on a really hot night.
