Made from 100% food-grade, toxin-free silicone, it meets stringent US and EU safety standards. The utensils feature soft, textured heads with sensory bumps to soothe gums and encourage self-feeding during early weaning stages. Compact, lightweight, and dishwasher-safe, they combine safety, functionality, and fun for your baby’s first feeding adventures. ## Description We designed Chewtensils for Stage 1 of baby-led weaning – introducing babies to the concept of holding a utensil and feeding themselves. Made from soft, textured, food-grade silicone that’s easy to grip and gentle on tender gums, with bendable heads for safety. The back of the spoon head has sensory bumps to stimulate gums. They’re perfect for dipping into puréed foods at the early part of baby led weaning. Chewtensils can be chewed on by younger babies before they’re ready to transition to silverware. They’re safe to use – made from 100% food-safe silicone. Chewtensils are intended for babies before they have a firm grasp on self-feeding (best for dipping and scooping, not yet spearing solid foods). ## Features - Safety tested using certified 3rd party labs to comply with US Federal CPSC safety regulations for Lead, Phthalates, BPA, BPS, Cadmium - Comply with European regulations (EC) No 1935/2004 and (EU) No 2023/2006, (NEN-EN 13130-1:2004 en) ensuring materials and articles intended for contact with food are safe for storing and serving food. - Dishwasher-safe (top rack) - Measuring approximately 7,5 cm long x 3 cm wide - For ages 6 months and up ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09HL9FNCB | | Best Sellers Rank | 36,209 in Baby Products ( See Top 100 in Baby Products ) 127 in Toddler Spoons | | Brand Name | Bumkins | | Colour | Batman Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (5,614) | | Finish Type | Textured | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00014292650720 | | Included Components | Fork, Spoon | | Is Stain Resistant | Yes | | Is the item dishwasher safe? | Yes | | Item Type Name | silicone baby spoon and fork | | Item Weight | 35 Grams | | Manufacturer | Bumkins | | Manufacturer Part Number | SFI-WBBM | | Material Type | Silicone | | Model Number | SFI-WBBM | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Product Care Instructions | Dishwasher Safe | | Recommended Uses For Product | Indoor | | Set Name | Baby Spoon and Fork Set (1 piece) | | Special Features | Portable | | Style Name | DC Comics | | UPC | 014292650720 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Bumkins - **Colour:** Batman Blue - **Finish type:** Textured - **Included components:** Fork, Spoon - **Material:** Silicone - **Number of pieces:** 1 - **Product care instructions:** Dishwasher Safe - **Recommended uses for product:** Indoor - **Special feature:** Portable - **Style:** DC Comics ## Images ![Bumkins - Chewtensils siliconen Baby Spoon and Fork - Batman Blue - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61xr7Bpj7lL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is there a case included or one that can be purchased for these utensils?** A: Bumkins toddler silverware does not include a case. **Q: Are these worth the price?** A: No absolutely disappointing product. It stains so easily. I used it once for barely a couple minutes I’ve tried washing it several times and even left it soaking in baking soda but it still stained. Not worth the price at all. **Q: Is the size and shape of these actually helpful for toddlers learning to use utensils?** A: Bumkins Silicone Chewtensils are designed as training utensils for babies to learn self-feeding. **Q: Are they too small for a 2.5 toddler to use?** A: My 9 month old grandson uses them they are designed so they wont go in their mouth all the way. I will say these particular ones are smaller then others I have seen. They are about the size of a pic lighter in length. And only a tad wider then one they do have the things to prevent them from going in there mouth however like I said above they are a bit smaller then others on the market. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bumkins Baby Utensils Set, Chewtensils Silicone Spoons for Dipping, Self-Feeding, Baby Led Weaning, Trainer Learning, First Stage Eating, Soft Practice Fork and Spoon, Babies 6 Months, Sand Beige - Bumkins Toddler and Baby Suction Plate, Silicone Grip Dish, Babies and Kids, Baby Led Weaning, Children Feeding Supplies, Non Skid Sticky Bottom, Platinum Silicone, Ages 6 Months Up, Batman Gray - Bumkins Baby Bowl, Silicone Baby Feeding Set with Suction for Baby and Toddler, Includes Spoon and Lid, First Feeding Set, Essential for Baby Led Weaning for Babies 4 Months, Marble --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/531448460-bumkins-chewtensils-siliconen-baby-spoon-and-fork-batman-blue](https://www.desertcart.us/products/531448460-bumkins-chewtensils-siliconen-baby-spoon-and-fork-batman-blue) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
