Review: Very well made function is almost perfect - Honestly, I give it 4 1/2 stars. Only complaint is that I wish it would move a little faster. Smaller movements for adjusting cut depth is just fine. It's when you have to change the bit is where it would be nice if it were a little faster. I just adjusted my routine a bit to compensate. When ready to change bits, hit the up button first, then take out the insert, then grab your new router bit. Definitely NOT going back to a manual lift, however. It is very accurate and sturdy. No backlash in the mechanism. I really like it.

Honestly, I give it 4 1/2 stars. Only complaint is that I wish it would move a little faster. Smaller movements for adjusting cut depth is just fine. Works but not well thought out for the customer. No pattern included for the plate cutout. Just a cheap piece of plastic would save lots of effort and time. Most of the electrical components are in plastic cases without proper mounting tabs or holes. Should not need to buy straps. Main controller is in plastic case which appears very delicate. This is a single screw drive so some jerking as it self aligns when moving. It works OK now and is a joy compared to under table adjusting. Probably will be adequate for hobby shop or small operation long term but unknown for drive quality.
