## Description

Koralia Nano circulation pumps by Hydor ensure excellent performance with low energy consumption. Specific for marine and nano reef aquariums, they can also be used in freshwater tanks as they recreate the natural movement of water typical of seas and rivers. Equipped with a sphere joint that allows you to adjust and direct the flow, they have a particular fixing system with magnet suction cup support for applications on glass up to 10 mm thickness. The pump can be connected to a timer and is complete with a cable protector for the safety of urchins and fish. Koralia Nano is available in various models with different capacity and power. Cleaning tips: Remove dirt and limestone from the rotor and its seat with a soft brush, do not use detergents or solvents.

I used it to aim slightly at the surface for surface agitation and water movement, also slightly causes swaying movement on plants so makes the tank look more realistic and plants gently sway. Does a great job and does it well, good quality and good brand. Very powerful so ensure it's suitable for your size tank and fish, some fish don't like much water movement and would probably get stressed and worn out if they had to constantly swim in front of it, so make sure there are spots in the tank where fish can go where water ciruclation is calmer, just something to take note of. Review: Useless after a year - Cable is short and on the wrong side of the pump but after a bit of jigging around I got it to work and stopped the vibration by ensuring the outside magnet was lined up properly. However, because the cable is constantly putting strain on the teeny tiny arm of plastic that attaches to the ball that inserts into the mounting sucker (the one in the sales video is completely different to what you get), the arm has got weak and can no longer hold the pump up, meaning its not doing the job its supposed to do. I have had to rig up some stiff copper wire to keep it in place.

Great quality circulation/wave pump. Very silent when fitted correctly. I used it to aim slightly at the surface for surface agitation and water movement, also slightly causes swaying movement on plants so makes the tank look more realistic and plants gently sway. Does a great job and does it well, good quality and good brand. I think the pump is excellent, it’s just the right balance between small size and power output. I use this in my heavily planted 240ltr tank, to circulate CO2 and ferts around the tank, for better distribution. It does this beautifully and silently. My one concern would be the protective grill, small fish and shrimps can easily be sucked in. However, this is a fault with most of the devices of this style. I can’t comment on longevity, however thepump was highly recommended and I can see why.
