Blocks the draft without worrying if it will get too hot while the stove is on. Easy to use and easy to cut if you're fitting it into a specific space. Easy to cut, comes with razor. Used to replace oven insulation from mouse damage, easy to install. The exterior oven walls didn't feel warm on the sides where the solid sheet was. This is even when I used the wrong size, my model had 2", Whirlpool RF364PXPT. So this only worked for the top and sides where it draped down against the metal, and was only long enough for that. Too much open space on the back and bottom, I will have to get 2" for those areas, I used the leftover off cuts for the bottom and it got hot when the oven was on. Don't do that, use a whole sheet and overlap (common sense, I know, trying to be cheap with an old stove). But after receiving the order and comparing what I received to the amount needed I was pleasantly surprised to realize that I would have enough for my initial project as well as enough leftover for a smaller furnace that I wanted to build.
