The magnet is super strong and holds either my Shield 9 or 45 securely. The rubber coating is holding up well and leaves no marks on my firearms. As I travel for work, I find this product perfect for securely mounting my firearm in my vehicle. Note: in the event of an accident, no magnet mounting system will hold a firearm in place, so keep that in mind.

This gun magnet is absolutely awesome! Works really well...had no issues at all installing it. I do wish I was able to just use the 3M tape on the back to secure it to my car but that did not work. It comes with two sets of screws…a short set and a longer set…I used the two longer screws to mount it on my dash just under my instrument panel. I bought this for my Springfield XD subcompact; it’s strong enough to hold my full size HK with ease. I put an awesome streamlight TLR-6 flashlight laser combo on my XD subcompact, and now finding a holster is tricky. It’s for home defense, and this excellent magnet gives me great options to not only mount but also hide it. It would be great in a car too. The rubber covers the whole magnet, so it won’t scratch your gun. Great job guys! I bought this. I wasn’t given it for my review.
