This case has a solid smooth outside and is of good quality. I can hang it from my bag using the clip but I do have an extra hook to make it a bit easier. It is designed very well and holds my prescription sunglasses easily; I feel they are well protected. I have added a little keyring to the zip as it is quite small but that is just me!
