Is this curved?** A: Well yeah you sink into it but really feels nice **Q: I cannot keep this chair from collapsing! ive tried everything. will someone tell me or show me how to assemble this thing. especially the crossbar** A: The answers are already here but might ve confusing, so i will add my 2 cents for you. • The elastic with plastic clips attach to the bridge from left to right of the legs., the horizontal part of an 'H'. Don't want to call that a 'bar' to avoid confusion. The elastic holds the legs tight fully into the tubes they are inserted in, so the legs will not move, as long as the cross-bar from side-to=side is solidly in place. • The cross-bar from side-to-side: I used 1" wide black duct tape and with about 6"-7" piece went over the chair leg bridge to the cross bar, making a 'U' wrap. The leg tube could cause the tape to span an open area of air due to the cross-bar attaching to the top of the tube, so I made the tape tight to the leg tube, by following the tube to the cross-bar, without any air-gap in the tape. Then, wrapped a piece of duct tape around the first piece on the cross-bar only. That prevents the first piece of tape from lifting off. Without an air-gap, the cross-bar is solidly attached, holding the legs from collapsing front to rear. The legs are wide, which holds them from collapsing left to right. It is as solid build if done this way. 4 pieces of duct tape, total less than 24". That's all there is to it. **Q: I've seen all the dimensions but I'm wondering aout the height of the arms from the floor. Are you able to help?** A: Since the product image shows the seat is 17" high, 3 more inches (20") totally made no sense to me, there is no way anyone would call 3" higher than the seat an 'arm'. So I went and measured it to give everyone an exact height.
