I did the walking through the house trial run with a couple pairs of 6" heels and it was just as perfect. The pictures are of my 6" heels. My one concern with them was the velcro. I loved the velcro but the ends didn't stick very well. If I were wearing something where my feet were visible, I thought it might be slightly noticeable that the closure was velcro and didn't seal very well at the tips. But, I feel like that could be a personal preference of mine seeing as I'm a seamstress and notice these types of things.
