## Description

Product description Excellent Objective Indicators The R&D target of RED acquires totally new from TRUTHEAR, based on the original excellent objective index of ZERO, the nonlinear distortion of RED is further optimized at higher sound pressure level (>94dB), and its frequency response target curve has bass amplitude response characteristics similar to the public preference curve, while the target curve of CRINACLE IEF_ Neutral is adopted in the frequency band above 1000Hz. This characteristics provides a punchiest bass without affecting the sound of higher frequency bands; Compared with ZERO, RED is relatively less in dynamic, but still conforms to the characteristics of HRTF, which makes RED very suitable for long listening without fatiguing. Sonically, The treble of RED is bright without iriating, dispatching a warm, natural and pleasing performance. Optimized Processing Technology TRUTHEAR not only pursues excellent objective measurements, but also attaches great importance to the optimization and improvement of processing technology; The cavity of ZERO:RED is still a sandwich-like structure (front cavity, decorative panel, and a few drops of glue to fill the seams). It directly realizes the natural smooth radian of the panel by using 3D printing technology, supplemented by a few of drops of glue to ill the seams, and combines with hand-made polishing and automatic gloss painting, offering an exquisite faceplate, and ensuring a durable and reliable structure. Accurate Hybrid Double Frequency Division Adopt dual polyurethane suspension composite liquid-crystal dome diaphragm N52 Rubidium magnet double- cavity internal magnetic circuit dynamic driver. New Generation DLP 3D Printing Technology and Medical-Grade Resin Using a DLP-3D printing cavity, usually reserved for high-end multi-drivers products and custom earphones, and the hand-made glue dropping and capping process. High-Quality Cable + Flexible Expansibility Equipped with copper-plated silver cable with thicker diameter of single strand. Deliver outstanding objective indicators. ZERO:RED SPEC

Review: Excellent!! - As someone who’s never used IEMs before and knows little about them, I wanted to give my honest opinion on the Truthear Zero Red IEMs. I was mainly looking to use these for gaming, and other casual stuff like watching TV shows, listening to music, or talking with friends on discord. I’ve used them with games like Valorant, CSGO, Marvel Rivals, etc. and I think they’re a solid option for anyone looking for something high-quality without being so expensive. Note that if you’re trying to decide between a headset or IEMs, I’d say go for the IEMs. They’re not only cheaper than a good-quality headset, but they also deliver excellent sound, especially in terms of surround sound, so if you’re worried about not picking up audio cues with these, there shouldn’t be a problem. I do want to mention a few things that might be useful. I am on the smaller side, and when I first tried these IEMs, they felt pretty uncomfortable. They seemed too big and kept slipping out, which honestly had me worried that I’d have to return them. But DO NOT give up yet. The IEMs come with multiple ear tips in different sizes, and after trying several, I found a good fit. It really made all the difference in terms of comfort, and now they feel great. They don’t hurt like airpods do, but they do feel a little weird at first if you’re not used to having something so deep in your ear. So, if you’re having the same issue, just be patient and experiment with the tips before deciding whether to keep them or not. Highly recommend these for people who want something that’s good quality but not expensive :D
Review: Best in-class Sound and Value - - TL;DR - The Truthear x Crinacle Zero (and Zero:RED) in-ear monitors deliver a very impressive combination of comfort, sound quality, and are a contender for the best value of anything in its price range (>$100). With their balanced tuning and gorgeous design, they are an excellent choice for casual listeners looking to dip their toes into high fidelity audio. Audiophiles looking for a reliable and budget-friendly option will also likely find this enjoyable as the technical performance punches above what the price would suggest. If you're in the market for a new pair of IEMs, the Zero:RED is absolutely worth considering. - Testing Equipment - All of my testing and listening has been from an Android phone with a budget USB-C DAC or from a modern Dell laptop motherboard’s onboard audio. Being an entry-level IEM, I wanted to test this from equipment that is more representative of what other users in a budget-friendly space may be using. An amp is not necessary to drive these, but you will see some benefit from the use of higher-quality DACs and amps. - Design and Comfort - The Zeroes like many IEMs features a sleek, ergonomic design that ensures a comfortable fit for extended listening sessions. Please note that the nozzle is on the larger side (about 6mm) and those with narrower or smaller ears may find these uncomfortable. I personally have large ears and ear canals and found them quite comfortable for up to a few hours at a time with stock tips. They are very lightweight coming in at just a few grams, and are made mostly with a plastic material but still manage to retain a look and feeling of sophistication. The REDs in particular really pop when the light hits them just right. - Sound Quality - One of the standout aspects of the Zero:RED is its well-balanced sound profile. The bass response is punchy yet tightly controlled, offering a satisfying depth without overwhelming mids and highs. This is managed by one of the two dynamic drivers inside each housing being dedicated as a subwoofer with a cross-over circuit! Simply unreal at this price! There is also a lot of clarity in the midrange, making vocals and instruments sound both natural and detailed. The treble is crisp and sparkly, adding a touch of brightness to tracks without crossing into harshness. I am particularly prone to sibilance (the sharp “sss” sound) and thankfully these are not bright enough to be fatiguing. The soundstage, while certainly not expansive compared to higher-end models, provides solid enough separation to hear individual instruments or pieces of music. I would describe them as a very intimate-sounding but well-separated IEM. Overall, the tuning leans slightly towards a warmer signature but still less warm than the original blues. If you are a true bass-head, there is also an included 10 ohm resistor that will give you a mild bass bump of a couple dB. In my A/B testing, I prefer them without the resistor. - Value for Money - At their price point, the Zeroes offer exceptional value. I have been out of the IEM market for a while, so it is hard for me to say just how well they perform when compared to other, more premium models, but they do certainly punch above their class. Included in the box you will get: • The IEMs • A .78mm 2-pin cable terminated in 3.5mm (the cable is of passing quality but not premium) • 10-ohm Bass+ resistor also terminated in 3.5mm • 7x pairs of ear tips: o 1x set (S,M,L) narrow-bore silicone o 1x set (S,M,L) wide-bore silicone o 1x pair (M) memory foam • A leatherette, foldable carrying case • 4x replacement nozzle filters I had the best sound isolation with the memory foam tips, but unfortunately my included pair did rip while swapping them out so please exercise caution and care when rolling tips. I am currently using a pair of Spinfit W1 but am going to be receiving Divinus Velvets soon which will hopefully seal a little better for me than the W1 (not a fault of the product, I just have weirdly shaped ears).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will the zero red have as good passive noise cancelation as the etymotic er2x ?**
A: The outside noise blocking of the Zero:Red will not very good compared to the Etymotic ER2XR.
All of Etymotic's products are designed for the maximum amount of noise blocking, the best in the industry.
The Zero:Red is designed to have an overall neutral sound with a moderate bass boost.
The foam eartips that are included will have the most noise blocking of all of the included eartips.
However, the foam eartips may not be very comfortable compared to the included silicon eartips.
For $50 USD the Zero:Red's will likely have the best audio quality compared to similarly priced IEM's.
But they probably won't be the most comfortable IEM's in this price range as they are very large.
You will likely need to buy better eartips if you want more comfort or sound blocking with the Zero:Red's.
Comply makes the best foam tips, SpinFit makes the best silicon tips.

**Q: What tws adapters will work with these? Will the fiio utws 3 or utws 5 work?**
A: These are 2 pin IEMs, not MMCX, so make sure you buy the 2 pin version of the UTWS 5. It doesn't look like the UTWS3 comes in a 2 pin version.

Also, the connectors for the IEMs are slightly recessed so even the UTWS 5 might not connect properly. I would suggest getting a Bluetooth DAC instead and just dealing with the stock cable.

**Q: Are the reds blutooth abd which codecs do they use?**
A: No they are Not Bluetooth, but the BTR5 will turn ang wired unit into wireless with just a little dongle clipped on your shirt or waste.

**Q: What does it come with in the box?**
A: 7 sets earbuds and a nice Pleather carry case and the 10 ohm impedance adapter, also comes with the speaker screens for replacement. It's a good package. If upgrading eartips you'll need those for wide Nozzles like the Spinfit 155s

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really great value!
*by F***. on March 9, 2026*

They sound great, much better than my Airpods Pro 2s. The building quality is good, they're nice and heavy. The wire isn't braided but it's a nice thick plastic that I think will last a while. They come with loads of different size rubber tips plus one set of foam ones. They also come with a "bass booster" adapter thing but I can't tell a difference with it.
