I have a 6 liter bottle** A: It should work if the cork in the 6 liter bottle is the same diameter as one in a regular 750 ml bottle. **Q: In what country is this item manufactured?** A: I checked the container and the Ah So. The country is not stated anywhere. **Q: is the sleeve for the prongs made of metal?** A: Yes, the sleeve is made of metal and protects the prongs nicely.
