Review: Decent Heel Relief for Travelers, But Not a Total Cure - I’ve been dealing with some annoying heel pain lately—mostly a mix of plantar fasciitis and just general soreness from being on my feet too much. Living in Florida, I’m usually in lighter shoes, and I travel quite a bit, so I needed something I could swap between my sneakers and my casual boots without a huge hassle. I picked up these ViveSole Gel Heel Cups to see if they’d take the edge off. After using them for a few weeks, I have some thoughts. They aren’t a miracle cure, but they do serve a specific purpose. The Real-World Experience The first thing you notice is the texture. They are a soft, squishy silicone. If you’ve ever had that "stabbing" feeling in your heel when you first wake up or after standing in a security line for forty minutes, these do help. They act like a shock absorber for your heel bone. I’ve found them especially useful in my flatter shoes that have zero built-in support. Pros Good Impact Protection: They definitely soften the blow when your heel hits the pavement. It’s a noticeable difference compared to walking on a hard factory insole. Versatile Fit: I got the Large (Blue), and they fit into my sneakers, work shoes, and even some sturdier boots without making the shoe feel too tight. Easy Maintenance: Since they’re silicone, you can just rinse them off with a little soap if they get dusty or linty, and they’re sticky enough to stay put again. Value: Getting a pair for this price is a fair deal. It’s a cheap way to try out heel elevation before dropping $100+ on custom orthotics. Cons Stability Issues: Because they’re just gel cups and not full insoles, they can feel a bit "mushy." Sometimes it feels like my heel is sliding slightly side-to-side inside the shoe, which isn't ideal if you're walking on uneven ground. Heat: Being silicone, they don’t breathe. In the Florida humidity, my heels can get a little sweaty if I’m walking around outside for too long. Limited Arch Support: Just a heads-up—these are only for your heels. If your pain is actually coming from a collapsed arch, these won't do much for that. They just cushion the back. Practical Tips If you’re traveling, these are great because they’re small and light. I keep them in my carry-on and pop them into whatever shoes I’m wearing for a long day of walking. They are best for "impact" pain—like if you're standing on concrete floors all day. Value for Money Overall, the value is solid. They’re a simple, low-cost fix for minor heel spurs or that tired-feet feeling. They won't replace a podiatrist’s prescription, but for a casual buyer looking for a bit more "squish" in their step, they do exactly what they claim to do.
Review: Literal game-changer. - So I was skeptical, but love the hell out of this pair of heeled boots I have. I got tendonitis VERY badly in my right ankle from a mile or so in those boots, as in bad enough I had to have physical therapy. But I really love those boots! And I'm an idiot who didn't want to give them up. So I decided to try these insoles in Paris (and I took back-up flats with me--when the tendonitis started in Sausalito, I had to spend $180 on a pair of flats so I could walk enough to get back to my AirBnB because there aren't exactly options there), and holy crap-nuggets. I literally walked MILES a day, every day for a MONTH, and they ended up making those boots more comfortable than flats I'd taken with me that were designed for walking far distances. I'm going back for a few weeks, and am buying more of these heel insole things and more heels shoes because I don't want to risk anything else being less comfortable. Literal game-changer. I wouldn't have expected this from pretty cheap insoles. Update: Now that it's January 2019, I've been using the same pair for almost a year, and those same boots are still ridiculously comfortable. No insoles so cheap should work so well. I read some of the negative reviews and rolled my eyes. They add thickness? Duh. You're adding something inside your shoes. Too big? Get the smaller ones. Too small? Get the bigger. I wear a women's 10.5 and got the blue ones. How can someone complain both that they're too sticky, but also don't stay in place? Or they're too sticky, but too slippery to walk on? I really don't understand that. How is it possible to be both? Really, just try these. I'm going to be getting some for some heels I have. I found they've helped my bunions since I can lean back and keep my weight on my heels instead of the balls of my feet. If I'm in flats and do that, my tendons start to hurt and my heels themselves hurt. But I can do that in heels in with these insoles!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap pain relief
*by A***R on July 6, 2019*

I work food service and I'm constantly walking around a hard surface with thin shoes that have barely any support. I was miserable when I'd come home because of how much pain I'd be in. These insoles had me literally dancing at work, they're so comfortable on the heels. They cushion the sorest parts of my feet and make walking painless while I'm wearing them. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for cushioning to get through long shifts. A few criticisms: I've had them for a week and they've already begun to crack down the centre, so they're definitely NOT durable (not the biggest issue because they're cheap). They're pretty good with adhesion but one has been slipping around a bit. My feet still hurt just as much when I take my shoes off and am walking around at home so they don't offer any long term pain relief.
