I walk my dog a lot in Florida and there's puddles everywhere half the year. I'm a hobbyist cobbler so this project was super easy. I knew they DON'T come with adhesive! I used my drum sander to sand down the bottoms of the Crocs, then scuffed the flat surface of these soles and used contact adhesive to hold them together. After some trimming of the extra I went back to the drum sander to round off the corners and smooth out the transitions. They work great! And the bottoms will now last a lot longer. Proper Prep is key *by N**** on June 24, 2026* Worked great! I glued the new sole onto my 30-year-old UGG’s. It's important that your process is sound. 1st make sure the sole you received is completely sanded with no shiny spots. Use some 100 grit sandpaper to completely scuff the surface, if any glossy sections exist the glue won't bond. Sand the tread off your show or boot. I used a disk grinder for that and a small disk grinder to scuff the sole. The surface needs to be sanded and dust-free. I used Barge Cement to glue mine. A “very thin” layer applied to both pieces and left to tack dry to the touch 1-2 hrs, a second layer can be applied but only very thin. Let it tack dry again. Apply boot to sole, make sure it's lined up correctly, and press together.
