Zipper tab is easy to grasp and glides easily. It’s not a cheap zipper with fine teeth.The pocket size is a good size. You can fit a cell phone if needed. Just washed them and the only drawback is you can’t dry them and they wrinkle however my kiddo doesn’t really care. He’s 6’1”, 145lbs. The medium 5” fits perfect not to short.
