The blades of grass just toppled over like he was using a scythe. So, okay, I couldn't tell which brand of Japanese sickle he was using, but this one was under $10 so why not give it a try? It arrived today, and while it does cut grass, I have to hold the top of it (the grass) to create some tension before the blades are willingly sheared in two. I can't just casually swish my arm back and forth from the elbow, holding the handle of this tool, and have all of my long grass seemingly melt before me.
