Review: Good little stand for a decent price! - Having bought a different model about a year ago and using it every week, I found myself needing a replacement at short notice and decided upon this model. The surprise to me was how small the package was (mic stand... not a personal reference) but how ingenious this particular model is. The stand is no more than (less than probably) 2 foot long. My first reaction; before playing with it, was "how an earth is this going to be big enough?!" but it is! The base has a clasp locking system rather than a threaded knob and the central pole houses an extending pole to take you up beyond Hobbit height (which is about my height). This functionality is found to be really useful when mic-ing up amps as it sits a little over 2 foot heigh when not extended; meaning your boom is not having to over extend. For vocalists, this mic stand is perfectly adequate too... Unless you're over about 6'2"... In which case you might want to choose a different stand as I'm not sure this would reach much beyond that height. For the more challenged in height like me... Or even 'average'... This stand is perfect.
Review: Seems solid but I wouldn't put anything heavier on it... - Five stars at this price. There's nothing really exciting to say about this product I'm afraid. It is after all a tall bit of metal with other bits of metal coming off of it and all in super exciting black. However, It does the job I need it to do, it does it really well and it was cheap as chips. I've got an SE Electronics X1 condenser vocal kit on it complete with support and pop filter. It's solid and the microphone doesn't feel like it's going to topple over. However I don't think I'd want to try putting a vocal reflection device on it too - that may just beyond the capabilities of what is a very decent purchase for the price. The various tighteners (is that even a word?) work well and I've not had any part stand slip yet. Been using it for a few weeks now and no complaints other than my wife is sick of seeing me grabbing the stand and pretending to be Steven Tyler from Aerosmith complete with my top off (which isn't really a pretty sight).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do the legs go out because I have limited space for the feet of this tripod also would it hold my se2200a mk11 with shock**
A: Each leg extends 34cm from the center pole. hope this helps

**Q: Does the thread fit the samson meteor mic? or will i need an adapter?**
A: Hi - there are two threads in the boom - use a small coin to unscrew the thread insert to reveal the larger thread if your mic needs the full size thread, otherwise the smaller one should fit. JA

**Q: Will it connect to an nt-usb mic ok?**
A: Hi there,Yes, this stand will work with an NT-USB as long as you have the included stand mount with the Microphone.Best wishesMark

**Q: Will this work with the samson g track pro?**
A: This Samson floor stand has a 5/8" male thread for attaching mics, so you would need a suitable shock mount if you wanted to attach a g track pro. The g track pro is also a relatively heavy mic, especially if you added a shock mount, so you would probably need to put weights on the legs of this stand to stabilise it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good price, good stand
*by V***R on 6 October 2020*

I'm not sure if there is a microphone stand cheaper than this on Amazon but for the price I paid, I'm happy with the overall product. I bought it in September 2020 for £17.50 with Prime Delivery. It is sturdy when set up correctly with my heavy Blue Yeti microphone. If you have a heavy microphone, try to make sure that the pole that holds the mic is facing the same way as one of the 3 legs on the floor. This will make a tip-over less likely. The finish of the product is very basic and mine came with a couple of dings, but for the price I paid I'm not going to complain as it does the job. See my video for more details, and please rate my review helpful if it has helped you :)
