It's also healthy for your hair. 4) Don't shampoo every day. This really should be a no-brainer, but shampoos are harsh on the scalp and hair. Shampoo only 2-3 times per week, but use conditioner daily. 5) Don't give up - This is big. If you are losing hope like I was with your stubborn, thick straight hair, be patient.
