It is super gentle and unscented but cleans deeply and softens fabrics too. I started using it for all my clothes and also my kitten Fuzz's soft cozy bedding. Now and then she throws up on the blankie and this laundry detergent gets it all clean and everything gets back to normal again - stains gone!
