The attachments and battery life might be perfect for quick cleanups around the house, but it's not the best choice for auto detailing. It comes with two attachments, one of which is much too wide for those narrow, hard-to-reach areas, and the second, smaller attachment barely sucks up water at all, which makes it virtually useless. I will say that the suction with the larger attachment is pretty good. Takes a few passes, and you may have to press it down for best results (holding the attachment with one hand and pressing down with the other, which gets exhausting pretty quickly), but it leaves the carpet/upholstery nearly dry. It came with the 4-hour battery. On the low setting with a full charge, it lasts about 30-45 minutes. On the high setting, you're looking at about 15-20 minutes of battery life. Definitely not a 4-hour battery, and charging takes hours. In conclusion, if you're looking for something to clean your vehicle interior, look elsewhere.
