Want to put under xmas tree!** A: Depending the the circle you have to make, you will most likely need to use different curved pieces. Some curved tracks have a more severe curve then others. **Q: Is it compatible with ikea train set?** A: We have some iKea track mixed in with ours and they all seem to work fine. This was perfect for that. This toy is great for creative kids who enjoy both building and playing. The design is really simple so as long as your kid is around 5+ and or has an imagination and good hand/eye coordination, they should be able to build it themselves quickly. This particular track set isn't super complicated, so it should stay together during play as well. If you want to keep on gifting expansion sets, this is great for that as well as it is compatible with pretty much any brand.
