I did notice a bit of scuffs on the bases but the black color hides it well. One of the chairs had a base that was damaged to the point where it barely fit to the part that allows the seat to raise and lower. I reached out to the seller on desertcart and was very impressed with how quickly they were to respond and resolve the issue. I couldn't be more happy with this purchase and recommend these bar stools.
