Or how much base would be needed to make like a cup of resin?** A: If you follow the directions it takes quite a bit to make a cup. I've made a few flowers pots that were really tiny and nearly finished the bag. Had to order more. It's a nice change from a resin pour but definitely not cheaper. **Q: Should mold release be used to aid demolding?** A: It is always a good practice to use mold release when using a mold. It is also a good practice to spray your molds with mold release before storing your mold. It keeps them from drying out and makes them last longer. I saw this kit and gave it a shot. The kit has everything needed to do a basic project, including 3 molds. I mixed up a couple of batches very quickly having never done this before and they came out well. Simple process mix powder with water. Add color if desired then pour into mold. It is ready to demold in 30 minutes.
