Review: Doen't work - Does not work. The pump has a sensor in it that seems to detect when it's not in water. That would be great for not burning the motor out, but the sensor doesn't often seem to think it has enough water to run. I have my pump fully submerged in water and instead of a constant stream of water, it keeps turning on and off intermittently. If I'm lucky it will give me a continuous flow for 30 seconds or a minute but no longer, just the pump turning on and off constantly. It's definitely not an issue with the pannle as it's been strong enough to pump water even when clouded over. This is just a poorly put together pump.

A: Even on a semi-cloudy day and in lower light, our solar panels will often still provide some power to the pump. This is because a certain amount of photons still penetrate the cloud cover and hit the panel.

**Q: Can the solar water pump run without water?**
A: Yes, the solar water pump has dry-run protection. This means as soon as the water level gets too low or take it out the water they will automatically shut off.

**Q: Why the solar water pump stop working, or the water flow is getting weaker and pumping less water?**
A: The pump may become clogged with debris if the pool or pond is dirty. It's advisable to clean the pump regularly.
