Every single one of the 10 seeds germinated, and all 10 are still growing and thriving! Before soaking them, I carefully nicked/cut through the very hard outer shell at the tip of each seed, which I think is an important step for successful germination. They sprouted surprisingly quickly after that. I started mine in a 5-gallon bucket and later transferred them to my garden pond. They have continued to grow beautifully and are now producing tall leaves above the water. I was so happy with the results that I just purchased another packet for my front garden.
