Read the description very carefully. You can activate this SIM in the U.S. before you go abroad and can even use data in the U.S. However, it is not capable of calling any USA number, even after you get to Europe. Customer support confirmed this when I reached out to them via email. It does work fully for voice/text/data while in Europe but you can only make intra-European calls.
