My suggestion would be to have protective film that can be fully peeled, rather than the one that is jammed between the glass and the rest of the mask that has to be broken off (will add a photo later to demonstrate). We tested them out in the sink at home and all seemed ok. My partner was concerned as she wears lenses so there was a lot of pressure for these not to leak and they did a great job. She had not snorkeled before but she was loving it with these. I used them every day and didn't have an issue with it, they are super comfortable and the water blocking feature of the tip works really well for when you dive under the surface.
