In my opinion, it is the best thing for an upset stomach and heartburn. I first tried Papaya Enzyme over 32-years ago when I was pregnant with my son and experiencing heartburn, and I have used it for that ever since. For bug bites (including mosquito,) bee stings, and blackberry bush/rose bush thorn pricks, I crushed some tablets, add a touch of warm water to create a paste, and apply it to the affected area to relieve the itch and pain. It is a great meat tenderizer, too !! I throw a few in with meat I am marinading...yes, it is true !! I can't recall where I first heard about it as a tenderizer, but it works.
