Made without fruits, vegetables, fillers, artificial flavors or colors, this raw dog food provides naturally occurring nutrients that help support digestion, a healthy coat, strong teeth, and lean muscle development. Freeze-dried to preserve nutrients and flavor, this raw dog food offers a convenient alternative to dry dog food kibble, air dried dog food, or gently cooked dog food. Start by adding a small amount and build from there—even adding 20% raw can make a meaningful difference. Packaged in a resealable bag to help maintain freshness, it’s a convenient way to feed raw at home or on the go. Available in a variety of protein options, Vital Essentials makes it easy to rotate recipes and support picky eaters while delivering minimally processed nutrition at every life stage. Each and every Vital Essentials product is made in our very own facility located in Wisconsin. Our manufacturing facility proudly carries the Global Food Safety Initiative FSC22000 Certification and is EU and Gluten-Free certified. **Q: Do I need to add water to freeze-dried food?** A: Freeze-dried food can be fed as-is from the bag, or you can add water to rehydrate the food, bring out the aroma, and create a softer texture. **Q: Is it normal for raw freeze dried food to have an aroma?** A: Yes! Since our foods are made with high levels of meat, you can expect the food to have a meaty aroma. Some proteins have a more noticeable aroma than others. **Q: What if my pet has tummy issues after eating raw freeze dried food?** A: Any change in diet comes with a chance of digestive upset. This is why we recommend a slow transition over the course of 5-7 days when changing your pet's food! This helps give your dog or cat plenty of time to adjust to his or her new diet. **Q: What if my pet doesn't like his new food or treat?** A: We're confident that your pet will LOVE Vital Essentials, but all animals have preferences! If the first product you try isn't a hit with your dog or cat, we offer a wide variety of proteins and textures that we're sure will be a great fit. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice taste *by on Reviewed in the United States October 18, 2026* My cat absolutely loves this dry food! She enjoys all the flavors I’ve tried, which is great because she’s usually a picky eater. However, from my perspective, the smell makes a big difference. The chicken flavor had a really unpleasant odor that made my whole house smell bad. I personally prefer the beef and rabbit varieties because they smell much better. The good news is that my cat seems to love all of them equally! Overall, it’s a great product, but I’d definitely recommend the beef or rabbit flavors over the chicken if you’re sensitive to strong food smells. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WIN-WIN *by on Reviewed in the United States September 1, 2026* This biscuit style of feeding our little Yorkie is something new to us. We have been on a quest to improve his health. Since switching him to Freeze-Dried food, he is happier, no more itching, etc...He absolutely LOVES these biscuits! This makes it easier on ME, too. It's a "WIN-WIN". ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tiny dog approved *by on Reviewed in the United States August 29, 2026* My Morkie loves these and he is very picky. He does not mind that they are a bit big (maybe 1/2 inch cubes). ## Frequently Bought Together - Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food, Beef Mini Patties Entree, 14 oz - Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw Single Ingredient Dog Treats, Chicken Hearts, 3.75 oz | Premium Quality High Protein Training Treats | Grain Free, Gluten Free, Filler Free - Vital Essentials® Freeze-Dried Raw Beef Entree & Mixer Dog Food Crunchy Mini Nibs, 25 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/527210291-vital-essentials-freeze-dried-dog-food-beef-mini-patties-14](https://www.desertcart.us/products/527210291-vital-essentials-freeze-dried-dog-food-beef-mini-patties-14) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
