It's excellent -- allows the viewfinder, focus puller monitor and camera all to be powered, plus the HDMI splitter takes the output of the 5D to the two monitors. I would like to be able to invert it so the battery goes vertical, but that's not really a problem. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Doesn’t stand straight up *by R***Y on 19 May 2020* Great plate. Doesn’t stand fully straight up ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ fantastic *by A***R on 4 October 2018* currently using this to power an a7s plus shogun flame. The mount comes with mulitple 12v leads plus a 7.4v so no need to chase down leads to go with this. You can make the battery go vertical but it will be upside down, not a big deal since the locking mechanism is solid enough. however, when on a shoulder rig id recommend placing the battery out vertical as it will give you a greater moment if you're using it as a counter weight as well.
