Premium price and the company website saying 'German engineering' is what is fooling people. I was going to buy when I thought it was German, but now won't. **Q: This looks exactly like the contec d1 cms50d1 and the sanitas pulseoximeters. can anyone confirm if they are the same model inside as well?** A: Hi, I am very sorry but this is not something that i can confirm unfortunately with regards to the Contect device. As for the Sanitas this is by Beurer so I can advise that this is the same just a cheaper brand. Cannot be sure of course if this affects it's measurement reliability.
