W set them at the foot of the beds or on the couch when not in use.I have 2 king size duvets and a fuzzy duvet cover in the one pictured.It takes a bit to get them in (similar to stuffing a pillow in a zippered sham pillowcase), but have had no issues with rips or the zipper.
