He didn't want me to get these but I bought them anyway, and....he loves them. He finds them comfortable - says they don't block ALL noise but they muffle things enough to give him a good nights' sleep. He said the muffled quality of sound he finds quite comforting. Really happy and we've just bought his second set. He uses a full wax pillow per ear (doesn't split them) and can use them several times before throwing out.
