Doesn't seem to be enough room to slide them in.** A: Most blind maunfacturers sew (or glue) a top pocket before sliding in the top hanger, however some companies put the hanger in place then sew or glue right up close to it, in which case it may be very difficult to remove/replace the hangers, they should slide in easily, but if not it may be necessary to open then re-sew the top pocket if you are able to do this without damaging the fabric **Q: how do you get these to work** A: Each vertical blind material strip has a hem at the top. Each hem has a gap in the centre. Slide one of these plastic inserts inside each hem So that the tiny stick-out piece of plastic juts our through the central hem hole. Then push the tiny jut-out piece of plastic until it clips into each of the fitment’s sliding mechanism receiving clips above. It’s purpose is similar to a curtain hook that hooks into the hanging-down pieces of the curtain rail. One of my child relatives stepped on the bottom of the blind and snapped the plastic insert out of its holder at the top, so I needed to replace the insert in order to re-hang the blind strip. The plastic insert slid into the hem of the blind strip and clipped in perfectly.
