This opens the door for fun conversations you never thought you'd say before such as, "should I eat Aunt May or will you?" The components of the game are fantastic. Multiple different types of troopers for you to fight and the detail on the heroes and zombies is amazing! There is a tricky balance in this game where you have to balance hunger. The hungrier you are, the more dice you roll, but if you get too hungry, you become a dumb zombie until you devour something and you take damage until you do. If you are a fan of marvel and like the idea of a fun zombie game, I highly recommend this. I have only played this game solo and I bought the kickstarter version, so all my characters are plastic mini figures. 5he game provides scenarios to be completed and have 2 sided game board tiles 5hat the characters explore and travel around to find and meet those objectives. The game is SOOO much fun and just the core game alone will provide many hours of intense gameplay. I would rank this as a medium weight game. The game is not too taxing to learn and the instruction book is very detailed. The game can be surprisingly difficult to win but solo satisfying when you pull it off. If you wish to play the superheroes as good guys and not zombies, then you will also need to buy Marvel Zombies Heroes Resistance.
